Open Innovation Challenge Award Event is a workshop organized by Europeana Food and Drink, a UE funded project in the frame of ICT Policy Support Programme part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme.
The event will focus on creative reuse of cultural heritage digital contents, especially from Europeana, the European Digital Library.
During this event finalists of the First Europeana Food and Drink Open Innovation Challenge will present and discuss their projects and concepts about reuse of digital cultural heritage with an audience of selected experts from the world of research, creative industries, marketing and cultural institutions.
Open Innovation Challenge projects will be the starting point for reflecting on GLAMs’ (galleries, libraries, archives, museums) marketing strategies and co-operation with creative industries as well as on cultural content reusing and copyright framework.
Finally our Challenge winners will be awarded at the end of the event.
The participation is free of charge and open for everybody, however the number of participants is restricted and the registration is required.
